Trail Spotlight: Burnt Mountain

For some inspiration, here is a video of a nice single track in Dupont State Forest just east of Brevard, NC. This is an easy (2+) trail with very beautiful scenary in the spring/summer. If you want more info, here's a link to the DSF site.

Getting Started

Ask most riders why they ride and they'll tell you "it's great exercise," or "I love being outdoors", but, I ride because it's fun! There is really no substitute for bombing through a whoop-de-doo section unscathed. Regardless of why you ride (or want to), learning more about the sport will help you maximize your enjoyment. That's what we plan to offer here over the next few months. We'll discuss your equipment, technique, training and yes even the jargon! If I find good content on the web, you might just get an introduction from me and a link. Otherwise, I'll share what I've learned and gathered from others through my years of mountain biking North Carolina's awesome trails!
